Exploring Social Media to Recruit Potential  Team Members

Exploring Social Media

Discover ways to engage Job Seekers via Social Media Networking

Recruiting new talent is a priority for Team Leaders and can often times be challenging. You may experience additional expenses, limited exposure to the employment opportunity and lack of employee applicants. Social media sites can be a significant resource when it comes to finding potential Team Members.  When seeking employment, social networking sites are now a greatly used cost effective approach.

Today’s job seekers research a company online prior to pursuing employment.  Utilizing social networking sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and Craigslist allows you to capture the attention of many, while building your stores’ image and connections. For example, encourage top performing team members to share a few comments on why they are happy with their job by creating and sharing a post on the stores’ Facebook, Instagram or Twitter page. Use the power of positive testimonials on why people enjoy your store, staff, and the services provided. In doing so you impact your stores appeal not only to the general public, but to potential Team Members as well. Have you created your stores’ Instagram page?  Instagram is another popular application that allows users to share images, and video under a business profile. Take advantage of the Instagram application by creating a picture story of happy customers, staff, and in store events. The employment social site LinkedIn provides skill specific profiles making it easy to identify Team Member candidates.
